Let the games begin. I’ve decide to cut into the vent a little to make sure the gauge is completely seated behind the frame showing no edges and will be a snug fit. Happy with the results! Very tedious project!

Put a strip of matte black vinyl to accent with the vents and not show any flaws on the cuts from the dremel.

Wiring for ethanol will start tomorrow.

That looks amazing, nice work, it looks like it came from the factory that way. If I recall, this is the wifey's car, doesn't she get impatient with you hot rodding her ride all the time, lol. Are you really building it for her or you?

Hard wired into the OBD wires so I still have access to the port if needed. Soldered most of the wires but these little T connectors are badass on Amazon. Worked like a charm with the 22 AWG wires. I’ll get to the fuel lines one day.

It’s not hard at all. You’ll notice 2 small holes on the side of the steering wheel. Use something to get in there and press somewhat hard to release the spring to the airbag. (One on each side) disconnect it and use a T50 torx bit in the center that hold the steering and that’s it. I can do it in under one minute now.

I’m getting a custom airbag cover made out of Alcantara and came across this emblem for the steering wheel. It’s an actual cover and not a overlay sticker. I’ve ordered it to see the quality.

Tips are set …. Actually digging the chrome. These were a set of black AWE tips from a BMW M5 aftermarket exhaust. Once complete and no rasp we will coat the rear section satin black.
