Now you have me curious. Mine was built in August 21’, I’m going to look at mine and see
if I can find it.

Can someone provide the part number for the Turbosmart bov and best place to purchase? Is this the more popular choice amongst the group for bov's?
Thanks in advance.

The 1296 is 100% recirculated back into the intake (similar to stock, little to no "whoosh" noise), the 1096 is a dualport 50/50 recirc/atmosphere so it will make some "whoosh" noise

Other than the sound, are there any gains to be had by installing one of these Turbosmart BOVs? I had to replace the stock one on an Audi A4 that I had tuned a while back b/c it had been damaged (over time, like 2 yrs) by the higher boost per the Audi dealer, they were cool about it and replaced under warranty even though they were aware I had it tuned.

If you say so.

The OP said it wasn't there.

You essentially called the OP an idiot and insisted it was there and that the OP didn't know what they were talking about.

Then they got snappy back. Ad nauseum.

Turns out it wasn't there. IMO that calls for a "Sorry dude, my bad. No hard feelings".

But sure, have fun on your pedestal.

I have been around a while on many forums and I help with all technical difficulties on mods, repairs, fixes etc. Much of this knowledge comes from my experience. With the way these forums have become it makes it difficult to recognize the trolls from people who really need the help. When in a thread about exhaust install, someone says "what is a deep socket" you question whether they are serious or just a 12 year old playing games on the forum. To Unbroken's defense and from his experience the valve should be there. If Ford somehow changed the configuration that would be a surprise to anyone. These forums are great for finding info that may not be public knowledge yet and need as much input as possible. I am sure the OP will look into the track of air flow and will enlighten us as to where Ford decided to put it. Back in the days of snail mail you had to wait for a response from enthusiast's and what was returned was all good info and no BS Just my $0.02

For sure. And for the record, @UNBROKEN has contributed a huge amount of wealth and knowledge to this forum. However, sometimes even the best of us get it wrong because no one can know everything. The graceful thing to do in that situation is to man up, admit it, and apologize.

That's funny !! You would have a better chance of getting Mexico to merge with Canada due to geographical similarities.:ROFLMAO:
