You guys must be good luck... just got a call the exhaust is in. Now I just need you guys to make e85 gas show up in Canada. Let’s see if you guys can pull that one off

Just got word that my Borla S-Type should be here TOMORROW! Guess the guy at Borla was wrong about the 4/5 week back order.

Installed the borla atak yesterday the dealer charged me 160.00 it couldn't have taken them more then an hour I would guess. Its pretty loud on a cold start I fired it up this morning at 7am I am sure my neighbors heard it lol.

It’s so much better now. I am really happy with the truck... plus I can get 5 kids with hockey bags in the thing lol. I picked up my truck in December I didn’t even know ford made an “st” explorer. I thought I could get a deal on a 2019 .... then the sale guy showed me this truck. Sold
Guys I almost bought a 4Runner hahahaha

Ok I finally got the Atak installed the other day and have had a lot of mixed city and highway driving. This is the best way to describe it..

You know how everyone claims the exhaust comes out of their speakers? No imagine it just ever.so slightly louder, just a few decibles, and real. Like a real exhaust note, but from the actual truck. The fit and finish was amazing. Installation on a lift with removal of old exhaust was like 30min. That easy.

So my final verdict, absolutely awesome. Has no bass notes or annoying interior noises at highway speeds. Very mellow and barely noticable if you stay steady at 75. On a low end and use manual mode, at around 3k the exhaust has an amazing exotic styled note.

So all in all the Atak sounds a little louder than exactly stock but with a purpose. 5 stars on Yelp.

Please don't think i'm bashing you...just merely poking a little . No way in hell , the ATAK sound is a "little louder than stock" and i can assure you it's not an exotic styled note .

The ATAK does sound incredible !!!

Just got the Borla Exhaust installed. Getting dark out so will get a video going tomorrow.

The exhaust sounds like what's coming from the speaker system now. In ECO mode, there is minimal to no sound coming from the speaker system. But you can clearly hear the exhaust from inside the car. Best thing I could've done to the ST!

If you really want to hear/enjoy it, turn the goofy fake exhaust sounds off. Staying with the stock exhaust in mine for the time being, but glad not to have the annoying noise coming out of the speakers.

I only commented on the exotic part because i just sold my twin turbo Ferrari 360 a couple of months ago .

I just got my axle back setup in so i will be getting it installed with an x-pipe in the near future .

Delivered to the front door and a quick check to ensure all parts were mint. Borla S-Type (Black Exhaust tips) was installed within 3 hours of being delivered. Had the mechanics ready because I couldn't wait. They made sure it was level because I told them it was a pet peeve of mine. It was just easier and they did get work on the catback for my older Ford Focus ST. Felt like Christmas! Now I can't get in it without remote starting every time.

Planning on doing a video still. Sorry for the delay.
