I paid $1395 cash. If you pay cash they don't charge tax.

Yeah I felt like real bone head with the wheel issue lol.

I will attempt to make a video of the exhaust system soon. When I first got it, I didn't think.would be loud enough but now that I've put a couple thousand miles on it, its gotten louder and sounds much better.

I shed a tear for your wheels. That’s why my wife won’t drive my car…she knows if she curbs a wheel I call BC Forged for new ones that day.

once you get the new wheels can you manually measure the offset for us since ferrada won’t tell us? It’s pretty easy to figure out. Just make sure you do it on a surface that won’t damage the face of your wheel when laying it flat.

Yeah, I shed a tear for my self esteem hahahaha. I felt like I had won the daily (or weekly) idiot award. I'm just not used to the width and height of the Explorer yet. My previous daily driven car was a 2014 Fiesta ST lol.

I ordered two new wheels, and they are already on. My $9.00 car wash cost me $1,400.00 for two new wheels. :oops::cry::sneaky:

At least the outer rim caps snap in and I can replace both for $350 and I'll have two like new spares just in case I find some other creative way to mess one or two up again. LOL

Some cheap ebay faux carbon parts.

Just an FYI, many of the faux carbon parts sold on Ebay for a 20-21 Ford Explorer ST did not fit. Luckily they are super cheap.

These are the ones that fit. lol

Here's a cold start video for the custom exhaust system from Kinney's Muffler shop in North Richland Hills, Texas. The best part of this is that they will add anything you want to get the sound perfect for YOUR liking and literally have a hundred different tip otions (including polished, matte black, polished black, etc).

This is a custom, 2.5" cat back exhaust system utilizing a 16" long front muffler (x-pipe internal baffled) using semi bent (they are not mandrel bent but the bends are very mild) and uses a short canned resonator on each side and twin 4" polished tips on each side. There is ZERO rasp, even at higher rpm and absolutely NO DRONE on the highway. It has a deep, bassy tone and sounds really good in my opinion, especially at higher rpm. While it may not sound very loud, it is much louder than stock, especially under load.

The best part is that if you are local and paying cash, the price is $1,395.00 installed (they don't charge sales tax).

H&R lowering springs, silver Ferrada center caps. Not sure what I like better, black or the anodized. I think I will probably like the darker gray center caps better, but it's completely just aesthetics. I do like the contrast, which is similar to my Fiesta ST pictured below.

I'm going to post an indepth comparison between the Steeda lowering springs and the H&R lowering springs since I've driven extensively on both in the suspension section.

Looks nice, I like the contrast

Unfortunately the Ferrada center caps can only be removed by removing the wheels from the vehicle and tapping the center cap out (gently) with a rubber mallet from the backside. I wish I could get them out while still bolted to the car but it's not going to happen. The center caps for the Ferrada CM2 are $200 a set. lol (I think that's ridiculous)

If they are a throw away item you could drill through the cap and yank them off with a bent coat hanger or pick took, etc.

Geezum, I might give it a try but these are even hard to get off using a rubber mallet. lol. Thanks for the tip.

I’ve used that method before and it works even on tough center caps.
