Explorer ST mud guard thread

I bought these Mud Flpas™ from Amazon for $25 for the whole set. They look OEM, sans the chinese all over them. They've so far survived a N Texas Ice/Snowpocalypse, torrential downpours, and actual mud without issue.

I've installed them using the existing hardware. For the fronts, one existing 10mm screw from the underside, and one existing plastic trim rivet at the top, I think the metal clips (provided) are optional. For the rears, I just used the two existing trim screws. I've thought about pulling them off and using some basic double sided tape to fill in the gaps between the mud flaps and the trim, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. That's definitely optional. Edit: if you use the metal clips on the front, pinch them closed first so they are snug when installed.
