Love CZ. I’ve got a Scorpion that’s a lot of fun. Love the looks of many of their metal pistols.
Also love the one Garand that I bought from my wife’s uncle. He was a retired Chief of Police in a nearby Chicago suburb and was reducing his significant collection. Man the stories he told!
This is certainly Off Topic but thought I'd throw it out there anyway. I've found that it isn't unusual for Car Guys to also be Gun Guys. If you happen to be one of those people, Please share some of your most prized pieces. This is one that I picked up recently, Scope Rail, Green Dot and Custom Trigger are on the way.
Here are a few photos I have. The first two are of my nephews Remington Woodsmaster 742 30-06. The other two are of my daughter shooting his old revolver and his favorite Ruger 380. I wish I could own firearms but, because I did some stupid shit in my youth, I can't.
Here’s one for the “old revolver” crowd. It’s a family heirloom passed down from my Great Grandfather. Word is he toted it everywhere he went then it was my Grandfather’s truck gun for as long as I can remember. It’s possibly the first handgun I ever fired as a kid.
About all I know is it’s a Belgian made knock off of a Texas Rangers .38 from that era. They were imported in the early 1930’s from what I understand as a cheaper alternative to the big names of the day. It’s not worth anything but it’s damn sure not going anywhere either.

We never looked too deep into it. It sits on the mantle in a display case….the case is probably worth more than the gun. lol
It’s nice to have a little piece of family history.
One finished, one getting close, for whatever reason I bought 3 of them over 20 years ago. These stocks are old Fajen blanks. They went out of business, but Midway USA has since acquired the name. I'm not sure if this product is offered again or not. They start out very blocky, but have the thumbhole relief and barrel inlet cut. The rest is pretty much up to you.

I got in to stock work years back, some were simply modified OE stocks dressed up, others were a lot more involved than that. The first few were kind of fun, but the truth is they are a lot of work. I did one for each of my kids and a few friends.
