    Tune Level

A buddy of mine in High school had a 86 GN. That thing was crazy at the time. I still have a soft spot for them.

    Tune Level

I’m in the camp of not doing DP on their own. I look at $ per hp and it is almost $100 per hp if you get a shop to install. Tune and intercooler is $2000 but gets you ~100hp - $20 per hp. it kinda sucks that the cost per hp goes way up after tune/intercooler.

    Another Tune Question

If you have a decent DA, You could probably get very close. I borrowed a dragy and pulled a 4.2 on 93 but traction was my real issue. 45 degree roads suck. Haven’t tried again since I mixed e28 in the tank again since it has been colder and no really good spots to do it. Intercooler is a good...

    Stop wheel hob

Steeda says that you need to call a ford dealer parts dept with last 8 VIN to determine subframe version. I was just looking at this yesterday to decide which parts to get.

    Another Tune Question

I’m using a fuel-it test kit. https://fuel-it.com/products/ethanol-content-tester-vial-only It is really compact but I ordered the vial only by accident when I was ordering my eth sensor. I got a syringe with aquarium tubing off eBay since I didn’t have the pipette. Get a vial that is small and...

    Another Tune Question

I only have the flex fuel 51-83% pumps here in Northern VA. I periodically test the ethanol content with a cheap tester and the places I go are currently on winter mix of e70. I’m only spiking my 93 to get ~e28 but going to an e50 tune soon. Don’t expect an attendant to know the %. Ethanol...

    ZFG 93 to E50 Question

No prob. Once it stops raining, I’ll go check the fuse slot he used and what amp fuse and add that. It is nice to have a known parts list that will work. Tbh, I used this thread: https://www.explorerst.org/threads/how-to-ethanol-sensor-installation.2506/ And this guy’s vid to work out what to...

    ZFG 93 to E50 Question

this is the list that I got and worked out great. I also had them mount it to the body vs the heater line bracket. You will need a micro2 fuse for the circuit tap. Fuel-it - sensor ending in 429 https://fuel-it.com/products/fuel-it-bluetooth-flex-fuel-analyzer?variant=40074552934539 Fenfab -...

    ZFG 93 to E50 Question

I’m getting it installed next week. Once i confirm that I have it all works (pretty sure it will), I’ll list links to it all.

    Finally installed!

Toss in a few gallons of e85 if you have it available. It is fantastic.

    Finally installed!

    Is that on 93?

If this were your ST … what would you do next?

I’d open up a petrol station that carries E85. Or get a drum and some carry containers to fill it to mix e30 at home when not available. Looks like go have all of the main go fast bits other than meth and imo it is too much of a pita. I can’t think of anything other than styling.
