    Rear Cam Recall... or not?

It’s a very peculiar situation because many of us had our cameras replaced under warranty and haven’t had the blue screen since, probably been close to two years since I just took a wild guess (I’m a dealer tech) and replaced mine after seeing some others were having success. Ford currently has...

TSB 22-2485 - 2020-2022 Explorer + Other Models - Wireless Accessory Charger Inoperative/Poor Performance With Magsafe Charging iPhones

Dealer tech here, I tried to do this software update over a month ago when I saw this TSB and with the latest version of FDRS the WACM didn’t show that there was a software update available. I don’t know if Ford knows which way is up anymore

    BLUE SCREEN.

On my 2020 replacing the camera is what fixed the blue screen and reverse brake assist not available message, the recall doesn’t address the issue on most vehicles sadly, I’ve seen several explorers plagued by this same situation, in rare cases it can be the IPMB module that needs replacement also.

Check the transfer case for wetness

Driver seat ease of entry problem

I’m a dealer technician, about a month about Ford released a TSB for improved wireless charging capability for iPhone 12 and up via WACM software update, I plugged up FDRS and found no software update available, so I updated FDRS to the latest version and tried again - still nothing, left...

Headlights turn on while parked at night

Ford just released a TSB for mavericks about this issue, I’ve seen it recently for other models too, says “internal logic within the switch” is at fault, and the fix it replacing the switch

Driver seat ease of entry problem

Well I guess my vehicle magically updated itself to the last version for the WACM then. Ok so maybe OTA isn’t available for all modules yet, but for the drivers seat module? It’s worth a shot https://corporate.ford.com/articles/products/over-the-air-software-updates.html

Driver seat ease of entry problem

It will most likely not be covered if you are out of warranty unfortunately, half hour to one hour labor is what I would expect to pay, one thing you can try to avoid a trip to the dealer is by turning on automatic updates, connect to WIFI, then turn automatic updates on from the sync screen in...

Driver seat ease of entry problem

There was a TSB awhile back that cures this with a software update, the dealer will know what to do

    Fuel Spit-back and TSB 22-2176

I performed the original TSB repair on my 2020 Platinum a year or so ago after the nozzle kept clicking off every few seconds the majority of fill ups. I’m not sure the exact part number of the updated fuel fill pipe that I installed (I’m a Ford tech) and I did notice they superseded it to a new...

    Platinum Suspension on ST?

I have a 2020 Platinum and I’ve always thought it’s kind rode like crap

    Rear Camera Washer/Jet

Honestly, it’s probably because they have so many camera problems across all models right now, maybe they determined that soaking the camera with washer fluid was damaging the lenses or something who knows. There’s a recall out right now that affects super-duty’s where the display looks foggy...

    Rear Camera Washer/Jet

20-21 models have rear washer, however at some point in 2022 they have made it no longer functional, for some odd reason they left the washer jet in place but it’s not hooked up to anything

    Intermittent hyper flash blinker

I’m a Ford tech and I’ve had two 2020 explorers with the same blinker behavior as yours (no idea why) but it should have a DTC set that corresponds to this issue… I used the FDRS scan tool and went into the BCM module and performed a “LIN initialization” problem solved!
