Best tire size for police interceptor rims

I got a set of sensors from my Ford dealership, took them to my tire shop where I was having my winter tires installed onto the police interceptor rims. They programmed the sensors, installed them, and here we went. :)

How to make a 12V power outlet always on?

Thank you. I think of rewiring as a last resort. Only if it cannot be done with configuration settings.

How to make a 12V power outlet always on?

I am wondering if anyone has figured out how to make at least one of the cigarette lighter 12V power outlets always on (when ignition/acc is off). By default, the system turns off all the outlets when the ignition is turned off and a door is opened. I was unable to find any relevant setting in...

Getting rid of GPS "nanny state" care

Well, it isn't always convenient to connect a phone via USB to navigate somewhere, as unfortunately, SYNC3 does not support Android Auto via Bluetooth. The built-in navigation is extremely glitchy, but it is good enough for quick trips. Also, I am not a big fan of [accidentally] leaving my phone...

Getting rid of GPS "nanny state" care

Unfortunately, it won't keep the volume setting for the prompts after a restart.

Best tire size for police interceptor rims

Hi there, What can I say? The winter driving was OK. Nothing unexpected. The reasons why I opted for that setup were as follows: - 18" winter tires are much cheaper than 21" - police interceptor rims bring a very good value for the money (curb hit rated, won't rust like regular steel rim trash...

Getting rid of GPS "nanny state" care

I am wondering if anyone has managed to disable that "nanny state" voice message autopronounced at high volume (regardless of the audio mode an volume set) every time you enter a destination and start navigation: "Obey traffic laws, be alert and use voice commands while driving". I find it...

Anyone else find the GPS worthless?

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Funny. But I am sure you've understood what I mean.

Anyone else find the GPS worthless?

I agree that the navigation in Explorer is horrible. It is constantly having hard times finding addresses and locations entered. I sometimes have to simply zoom in/out and slide the map on the screen to point the stupid thing to the location I need to get to. But what irritates me even more is...

    Dashcam install (heavy pics)

It looks like that bolt may or may not be there. It is not there on my ST. :(

    Dashcam install (heavy pics)

Thank you very much! I have a Cirquit-Test digital multimeter. I did find those brake pedal mounting bolts, but I just thought they were a bit far from the fuse box. But it looks like there's nothing with reliable ground closer. I'll use one of those bolts as you recommend. Thanks again.

    Dashcam install (heavy pics)

Hi there! I am in the process of installing a new BlackVue DR-900X Dual Channel dashcam in my ST. I have figured out proper fuses to tap off (#37 - acc - for run mode and #4 - batt - for parking). However, I am having difficulties finding a point to get GND from. Could you please share some...

Best tire size for police interceptor rims

I am located in Canada. Got the rims from my Ford dealership where I had got the ST from. Paid $145 CAD (around $100 USD) per rim.

Just thought to post a report about the final results of my winter tire project here. Thant you everyone who shared their experience and thoughts, and gave valuable advice! :)

Best tire size for police interceptor rims

Thanks for sharing the photo! I ended up ordering 255/65R18 winters. Waiting for them to arrive. Will post a photo once installed. The only thing that bothers me is lug nuts. I am planning to keep the stock ones. I also got center caps. And also, I use McGard locking nuts (one per wheel), and...
