    Unsightly Harness relocation options

The connector on the left side serves no purpose and could be removed. Might be a factory test connector. Unknown connector on fender. | Explorer ST Forum

    ST Line logo in grill

Today in a parking lot I saw what I though was an ST since it had the ST logo in the grill. As I walked up to it I saw it was an ST Line. So Ford now includes an ST (Line) logo in the grill.

Charging error and battery saver issue

Make sure all that extra equipment has its negative (ground) side leads not connected directly to the battery negative terminal. All current draw must go through the BMS module that is mounted on that negative terminal. Equipment leads should connect to either the vehicle chassis or the chassis...

Why Didn't I Get An "ST" Logo Fab? A 2025 Letter to FORD CEO

Went back and tried it again today. This time it worked right away. Maybe my timing was off before.

2025 Explorer ST, kick to open liftgate

I know a lot of people here have had problems with that, but I will just comment that in four years mine has worked flawlessly every time. Also, it would only open when I asked, never by itself.

Charging with a charger in garage

Regardless of charging status, the car will go into battery saving mode after exactly two weeks of non-use. It will send a message when it does that. After that it can no longer send/receive messages or commands because the modem shuts down. That mode will continue until the car is restarted.

    Annoying Rattle Driving Me Crazy

I sometimes get a small rattle from the second-row right side seat belt retractor. Too buried to get to it. Tends to quiet down when not used for a long time.

    Parking Brake Fault

Does the parking brake not set automatically on the 2025 when trans is put in Park? Part of axle bolt recall on earlier models added that "feature".

TIL the rear side covers can be used as dividers in 2 spots

First thing I did when I bought my 2022 new was to put those dividers vertically on the sides and lay down a WeatherTech cargo mat. The mat covers the open spaces on the sides. Easy to grab stuff in those side pockets by just lifting the mat. Later I was able to buy, for a very cheap price...

Why Didn't I Get An "ST" Logo Fab? A 2025 Letter to FORD CEO

Just because I was curious, I bought a new ST key fob the same part number as the ones I have. KT4T-15K601-CE. Did the procedure of inserting keys one at a time and pressing the start button each time. Never could get it to program. Battery is good. This is all a very similar procedure to...

Why Didn't I Get An "ST" Logo Fab? A 2025 Letter to FORD CEO

I think you mean the ones commonly for sale only work on 2024 and older. The 2025 uses a different frequency.

81 days at dealer for our 21 ExpST... Well crap, it needs to go back.

The bench seat was an ST no cost option for 2022. I have one.

Engine compartment drivers side - should something go here?

Unknown connector on fender. | Explorer ST Forum No one replied to this a few years ago but I assume it is just for some factory test. It has the mating connector on there to protect the pins and a wire looped around to keep from losing it on the line.
