    Rod Knock at 4K miles.

Details details. Way back when my sister asked me about buying a Saturn with 28k miles but a new engine. I went to talk to the dealer. The woman that bought the Saturn new never checked or changed the oil. Surprised it lasted that long[emoji85] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    DOWNPIPE Install quoted $1700

That’s a pretty decent price from a dealer imo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Blown rear diff - '21/ 51k mi

This. I easily fabricated one with some square tube, an exhaust clamp, and a welder. Not sure how you could damage the driveshaft. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    remote start not working

Hood open, door open, or been sitting for too long will all disable remote start. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Sound deadening options

It made a significant improvement in my 22. I was doing a stereo upgrade so I did the floor, doors, and rear lift gate. If you pay somebody it’s not going to be cheap. I pulled all seats and trim panels out to do it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Steeda Or ZFGR Tuning.

Yes but it doesn’t mean warranty lock. Some dealers are mod friendly some are not. However, if you blow your motor I’m sure Ford will check the tune before giving you a motor. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Autostop Eliminator Causing faults on 2025

Has to be one of the most stupid features forced on us in the name of climate change. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    DOWNPIPE Install quoted $1700

Took me about 4 hours to install downpipes and about an hour to install the Thermal exhaust. The passenger side is a bitch to get out. If I were to do it again, maybe 2 hours. Even at $200/hr that’s only $1000. I’m no expert mechanic but have skills from rebuilding a few cars. Sent from my...

    Explorer St Aftermarket Vendors.

Some retailers stock product. Some just drop ship. Many do both. If I am worried about speed of delivery, I will contact them before I order. My Waido splitter took over two months to produce and ship. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What viscosity of engine oil are you using?

Ditto. Stick to good brand names and you are GTG. I usually run Mobil 1 but I have no issue using others. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Need Intake Opinions

That’s what we love about you. You don’t have to try and figure out what you’re saying. Straight and to the point albeit blunt at times. I have offended some by speaking my mind but my true friends appreciate it! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Yup, looks good. The dealer I bought my ST from could not get my alignment done after springs. They had no clue about the rear upper inner bolt. Any the ST’s had been out for two years when I bought mine[emoji23] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Front Struts

I almost always replace the bearing when doing struts. Cheap insurance. The Explorer’s are plastic trays with ball bearings. No metal races for the bearings. I also have lowering springs so a complete assembly is a no. I used to have a customer that assembled the complete units. He told me if it...
