How to avoid the brittle valve recall test?

It’s like a free license to beat your car. I’m not having them do it to mine. I’ve had quite a few fun long drives that I beat on the ST pretty hard. If it goes, it goes. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What Did the Wife Do to the Explorer ST Today

My wife had to drive my ST for a few days while I had tint and ppf done on her new MB. Managed to curb rash a couple wheels on mine[emoji23]. Primed them but waiting for sub 97 degrees to airbrush the black on. Never curbed her own wheels, just mine. When I asked her how it happened she just...

    Strut body cap

Was also thinking if it were meant to be removed, why include it in the first place. It doesn’t appear to perform any type of protection during shipping. You know the penny pinchers would eliminate it to save the ten cents[emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    O2 Sensors?

Following. I have over a year on my spd’s. No problems so far. How many miles? 50k or more you might have a lazy O2 sensor. Efficiency is usually post cat sensors. I will say dropping the spd’s should be way easier than the oem cats. You might even be able to get to the downstream sensors...

Grabby/Heavy steering after alignment at dealer

You really need to know what they set it to. An alignment that is off can significantly affect the ride and steering. I would go back to your dealer and have them put it on the alignment machine and print out the alignment specs. If I were in your shoes and the dealer wanted to charge for that...

Did they change the oil pickup tube design on the 2023-2024 STs?

Don’t think there were any significant motor changes 2020-2024. Been a while since I installed mine but I had no interference on my MY22. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Have you tried a hard reset? Also, if on your phone you forget the sync Bluetooth connection it should not ever reconnect automatically. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Subwoofer enclosure between rear seat captain's chairs

Just realized I missed your post. Yes, tough to find ultimate locations for different speakers. I like your sub idea. Tuning is a whole nother animal. More of an art if you asked me. I have an RTA with mic so I tuned mine to the best of my amateur abilities. I literally spent days trying to...

Subwoofer enclosure between rear seat captain's chairs

Glad I could help. Shotguns only fit diagonally in mine. I’ve redone a few projects that didn’t work out as planned but I’m good at learning from my mistakes[emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
