    Need Intake Opinions

That’s what we love about you. You don’t have to try and figure out what you’re saying. Straight and to the point albeit blunt at times. I have offended some by speaking my mind but my true friends appreciate it! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Yup, looks good. The dealer I bought my ST from could not get my alignment done after springs. They had no clue about the rear upper inner bolt. Any the ST’s had been out for two years when I bought mine[emoji23] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Front Struts

I almost always replace the bearing when doing struts. Cheap insurance. The Explorer’s are plastic trays with ball bearings. No metal races for the bearings. I also have lowering springs so a complete assembly is a no. I used to have a customer that assembled the complete units. He told me if it...

    Subwoofer Install.

I really like JL Audio subs. I put a13in W3v2 in a hand made enclosure where the oem sub goes. It’s the best sounding sub I have had in one of my cars. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Smoking on startup after sitting

Not sure on the ecoboost but smoke on startup after sitting is usually valve seals. When you shut it off, oil leaks into the combustion chamber and gets burned off in short order when you start up. How many miles? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

White flaky substance at rear AC?

Looks like it got wet with something. Does your rear ac still get cold and your heat work back there? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Speaker sizes for 14 speaker system…

Gotta be a loose wire somewhere imo. I assume pushing the on/off button sends a signal over the can bus to the oem amp telling it to turn on. I used a Zen unit to tap all the channels so two plugs to plug in and the wiring from the amp was done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Speaker sizes for 14 speaker system…

Certainly not ideal but I have had zero leaks or problems in 3 years. Good luck on the upgrade. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Door and door pillar. Primed and painted the holes before assembly with a grommet on both ends. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Speaker sizes for 14 speaker system…

Many don’t upgrade rears, especially for competition. My personal preference was a fuller sound for my old ears. I messed around with the rear plug for a few hours and gave up. Ran another small hose and grommet along the original. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Light battery appear

Test Put a volt meter on the battery terminals after you start it. If charging, the voltage will jump to around 13.3 to 14. If it still reads 12v after starting, charging system may have a problem. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It’s been a few years but they pop out and give little room for hands. Spray silicone helps them slide a little better if they are super tight. That was the toughest part of my install. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
