ST: 6 Faults at same time - OUCH!

They are a Ford dealer that sells extended warranties below the cost of other dealerships and they are based in Rhode Island: https://www.floodford.net/ The users at the Explorer Forum have nothing but good things to say about them. Try a quote and compare it to your local dealership‘s extended...

No doubt brother. Read the agreement line by line and when you go to sign it back to them, read it two more times before you take the refund check for the balance. By the way, it took about 6 or 7 business days for them to finally pay off the loan at my credit union. Keep an eye out for the...

Damn. Sorry brother. Make sure to tell Ford you’re not OK with them deducting personal usage miles, seeing how long it’s taking. Might mean more money in your pocket.

I was able to get them to waive the mileage fee. Told them it would go a long way towards keeping me a loyal Ford buyer. It was the difference between owing them money and getting about $1,000 back, Might be worth a try in your case.

Agreed. My wife would have divorced me if I bought her another 2020 Explorer after the hell we went through.

Not a bad idea to wait. 2021 are less expensive than the 2020s, plus they will hopefully get the problems straightened out by then. Ford gave us a discount code to use towards the purchase of any new Ford. I think the discount was $1,500 and had to be used within 30 days of the buyback.

A lease buyback should be the same as a vehicle that is financed via a loan. The trick is knowing what your state‘s lemon law(s) are, then reminding the dealer of the law(s). Here’s a link for California’s lemon law for you: https://www.dca.ca.gov/acp/pdf_files/englemn.pdf Call Ford Customer...
