Salvage Explorer - new to ST

When it comes to the car lift - it’s 5000lb capacity, but lifts 4,860lb 14 Explorer with ease - pump speed and noise does not change loaded or empty. Even if you stop and start back up lifting. Wanted 5k lb so I can use it on my lowered Genesis coupe - as lift is a bit shorter and lower...

    Headlight Salvageable?

To do it correctly you will need to sand off all UV coating (whole headlight). Spray it with new UV coating. If you sand and polish only - it will get hazy in a year and you will have to keep on doing it. Plus it’s not as glossy if missing UV coating. I used UV curing headlight spray clear and...

It will be a bit of work. I have all major parts, including matching paint doors and rooflines with airbags from another ST - salvage yard. Unfortunately have first fix my 2014 “ST” before diving in onto 23 - one of the turbos gave out

    Air flow upgrades

if it’s a timberline diff, then it’s 3.58 gear ratio - same as ST. But it does have limited slip. definitely will help you with your slow 60 foot and 1/4 a bit.

Salvage Explorer - new to ST

I recently bought a 2023 Explorer ST from a salvage auction, which came with a clan title. I’m excited to repair and modify it, focusing on modifications that actually make a difference, such as an intercooler, downpipes, a 4-bolt rear subframe, and a tune. I’ve owned a tuned 2014 Explorer...
