Unbroken, since you are the Guru on wheels and tires, am I going to have issues with off the rack 22x10.5 35 offsets? I’m thinking I will be in quarter or less than your beautiful wheels! Thanks. Jim
Nah...they’ll be inset just shy of 1/4”. If you wanna push them out just throw some 1/4” slip on spacers behind them. I always recommend billet aluminum spacers...not the cheap cast versions.

Was the stat messy?

My catch can and t stat came in and looking to do next week.
Two 8mm bolts on the t-stat housing and it dropped about a quart of coolant out. I expected a lot more...gotta say it wasn’t bad at all.

Misfire on cylinder 4 after the plug swap.
So I followed normal protocol...swap coils 4 and 5...misfire stayed with 4. Pulled plug...insulator is good, plug is wet...definitely not firing.
Now get THIS shit. The sensor plugged into the hose for the PCV is the EXACT SAME PLUG and they’re right next to each other. I had them all undone to make room to work and got them flipped. Learn from my mistake if you’re swapping plugs.

awesome, looks smooth.

Question, did you t-stat come with a gasket? I ordered the SPD 180 t-stat and it arrived today, sans gasket. Also, how do you remove the airbox without breaking anything? ;)

There’s an o-ring that goes on front of it inside the housing. So basically...the guy that posted on how to do a cheap version didn’t know all the details. lol
It’s simple...you can’t miss it when you take it apart.
As for the airbox, remove the tubes, filter and top obviously. I removed the wiring harness that’s clipped to it just for more space. Then remove the 10mm stud on the back side and yank it straight up. The snorkel inlet pops out easily once you get it loose.

Awesome, thank you. that 10mm nut is on super freakin' tight so I started to wonder if it was supposed to come off or not.

I'm excited to see your rail updates. :)

Bored at work...building new gauges as close to the Sport Mode gauges as I can in the OBDLink app.

Put together a digital page as well. Looking forward to actually connecting it to the minivan this weekend to open up the mfg specific PID’s to see if I can catch an oil pressure reading somewhere. 031785CB-DBBC-4035-9C42-BDB62597EC3C.png

Yea...I decided to try this app out since I already have the OBD adapter they recommend for Forscan crap.
I tried the AutoMeter DashLink 2.0....it’s a raging piece of shit. I got it to connect maybe 5 times.

Slick top ST. 4 hours start to finish and not for the faint of heart. There’s 3 holes left on each side...I used butyl rope to smash in and seal them. And I guess this puts to bed that they will definitely work with a sunroof.

Looks great! I really want to do this but wow when I saw your headliner hanging down it scared the crap out of me. Especially since my dealer just replaced my entire headliner. Nonetheless it’s a great improvement in my eyes! Jim
