With all the delays and shortages the auto manufacturer companies are dealing with, as well as new vehicles being shipped with out certain expected features, I was wondering if anyone with a 2020 or 2021 Explorer ST would be willing to come with me at pick of mine so I could compare the two and make sure my vehicle is not missing any components. A long shot, but someone may be bored enough to accept :D

Where is the dealer you’re taking delivery from? I’m in Vancouver.

Got a picture from my salesman. Looking to pick up Wednesday or Thursday. I’m coordinating with a detailing company and the window tinting company so I can get everything taken care of same day. F2E7784D-BBD1-4E17-B782-7C3A2F51D046.jpeg

Nice. I did tint on day 3 and did my own paint correction and ceramic on weekend one.

I think I'm doing the paint correction and then clear bra wrapping the front end.

I'm leaning that way too. Before I sold my business my new cars would go straight to him for paint correction, ceramic, and PPF. PPF has saved my ass many many times. Now that I'm paying out of my own pocket I am doing the ceramic myself but will pay for PPF. Besides, I stripped the EXPLORER letters off the hoos so nice and clean.

I didn't even think of the letters.....I wonder if I'll have to remove them as well.

Tough to put PPF on the hood if you don't. Fortunately they come off easy with some heat and fishing line.

So the tint/ppf shop can’t get me in until the 29th, so I may go pick it up today, just do it’s safe and sound in my driveway.
