Hello all,

Has anyone made these changes with Forscan ??? :

Switch on the fog lights by turning the wheels
In the BDyCM module edit the line "Corner Light Mode for fog lights" and switch to Enabled

Set the number of flashes of the automatic flashing turn light instead of the 3 original flashes (in France)
In the AS BUILT Format SCCM locate the code 724.01.01 then replace the xxxx xXxx xx by:
0 = for 1 Flash
4 = for 2 Flashes
6 = for 3 Flashes
8 = for 4 Flashes
A = for 5 Flashes
C = for 6 Flashes
E = for 7 Flashes

Automatic door locking when driving from 20 km / h or 12mph (desactivated by default in France)
In the IPC module edit the line "Automatic door locking" and go to Enabled

automatic door locking function can be activated / deactivated from the ODB parameters (not existing by default in France)
In the IPC module edit the line "Self-locking configuration status" and switch to Enabled

Thanks,

Alex

Has anyone found a code to auto boot into sport mode? That is my favorite dash and most responsive drive mode. I still average about 16-17 mpg.

When registering on Forscan, it says someone has to approve the new username. How long does it take to get an activation license? I set it up earlier today.

I got the email that I set it up, but not activation acceptance. And ideas?

https://forscan.org/

I'm using this video to disable the double-honk.

Nevermind. Found my answer:

How long do the review and approval take?
It depends on moderator's availability online. Normally it takes from several minutes to several hours. We do our best to do not make this period greater than 8 hours. But in some very rare cases it may take up to 24 hours.
Important: there is no real need to send emails to support asking to make the process faster. This will not help as support and moderation teams work independently.

It was easy. It took less than five minutes to disable the dreaded horn honk and enable Fogs and High Beams. Too bad it couldn't disable the Auto Start Stop Engine (I was forced to purchase Auto Stop Illuminator for $80.00) and allow booting into sport mode. Those are the two most requested features.

I used Andrew's You Tube Video as well.

Wait, i have to buy a $80 device to boot into Sport Mode?!!!! I thought Forscan was what I needed for that. If you boot into Sport Mode, Auto Start Stop should automatically be disabled.

I never said that. To clarify. You need to buy the "Engine Auto Start/Stop Eliminator" in order to remove that useless feature. There is no boot into Sport Mode fix that I could find.
I used ForScan to remove the Double Honk and to add Fogs and High Beams. I have home in Lakeland, Florida. It is off the main road and I need all the illumination that I can get when I travel there at night. Sorry for the miscommunication.

I think you communicated it right. I just assumed Forscan would be my ONE FIX-IT tool.

I owned a Dodge Charger Scat Pack. And the ONE FIX-IT tool was called a TAZER. You left it plugged into your ODB2 port & made changes through the dashboard for all the extras you wanted (start in Track Mode, etc). It sucks that we have to deal with Forscan. Ugh. :rolleyes:

My registration from Forscan got approved 24 hrs later. Looks like they had some backlog.

I finally disabled the Double honk when getting out of the vehicle with your keys. Whoever came up with that feature should be kicked in the head.

Now to search the forum for other features to 'fix' using Forscan.

I fully agree... The engineering should have though it out a little better. Useless feature. I jump out of the car many times a day with it running and often leave the Fob in it while I get the mail or pickup takeout. Wow.. this is almost as annoying as the Auto Start Stop Engine issue or my ex wife bitching about nothing! lol

Turn on fog lights and high beams at the same time.. not sure why they had that disabled to begin with.

Really I did not know that...where my house is in Lakeland I'm sure the deer won't mind.

Well, my sister in law took her keys in to her mother's house and left them there. Drove her truck 2 hours and shut it off. Guess what, now she had a problem. We always keep the keys in the ST and just use the phone to start and/or the door keypad to lock/unlock.

Dave G, So do you think the double beep would have prevented this? Had she disabled something in Forscan that allowed her to start and drive away without her keys?

She left the vehicle running while she dropped something off and forgot that she left the keys inside the house, maybe in a diaper bag or something. Came back out to the truck and drove off without the keys. She might have had an Expedition at the time.

There's an option in Forscan, it think it's called Secure Idle or Police Mode or something like that, that won't let you drive it without the key fob. You can leave it running but it won't go into gear.

My 2021 ST does not drive away if the keys are not present. I did disable that double honk

I haven't tried on the Explorer yet, but the 2019 Edge wouldn't let you shift out of park if the vehicle was running and the key wasn't in the car.

I do think I saw Police Mode in forscan, heading back in to check.
