I
I only know about 87octane. And this plug.

This plug is a
Projected Square Platinum Electrode (PSPE). And yes they say its colder.

View attachment 37067 i cut the strap off so can get a good look. I will never use them again. I got ford performance plugs in it now.
I Switched from the ngks to the ford performance ones too, night and day difference in terms of performance, I used to get alot of KR with the NGK at partial throttle loads, with the ford performance ones the ecu is adding ignition timing literally every where.. idk what it is about the NGK ruthies but my 2022 ExSt did not like them

I'm conufsed as to why now these "NGK Don't run well" guys are coming out of the woodwork when all the big tuners that literally tune these things on the daily suggest these plugs, and I've never seen them mention the FP ones.

Manufacturing isn't perfect, your bound to get a bad batch of plugs and the unlucky few like me would end up with a bad set, its kinda like when some engines will throw a rod a few miles in from being new etc.

I went with the ford performance ones, because they were the same specs as the ruthies and oem plug as far as reach and threads go, the ford performance plugs are claimed to be 1 step colder over stock, they have been working great for me, they are also made by NGK, they just arent projected nearly as far as the Ruthies.
