I unfortunately have the GPF exhaust, BUT that said I do want to delete the large main muffler and throw an Xpipe or Hpipe on there for a little sound. I see sensors up at the GPF but wondering if doing anything this far “down stream” would throw a code or not… I can go to any old muffler shop and have it done if not Any advice is appreciated

It would not. Deleting the resonator really isn’t going to change the sound much. If I were you, I’d just do a muffler delete and call it a day for now.

Ya I want to delete the large main muffler and leave the tail pipe mufflers alone.

Personally not a fan of the MRT muffler delete system sound. Too loud for me.

Also maybe trying to compensate a bit for the GPF, and hoping maybe a giant muffler delete can assist with the current extra exhaust restriction.

That is a resonator, not a muffler. You’re not going to gain much sound with that and more get more unwanted frequencies.

I mean I’ve heard the MRT H-Pipe on the 2022 from their website and thought it sounded perfect. Almost like you’d expect it to sound from the factory instead of having to overcompensate with the lame FENG.

Different strokes for different folks. Some people like loud, others like mild, and not everything is for everyone. But you have to also factor that as of now there are no aftermarket solutions to the 2026 with the GPF system and I’m trying to find a semi-legitimate solution to this GPF exhaust system strain that reduced HP/TQ by 15…

That said, I am curious what “unwanted frequencies” your referencing.
