As you guys know we set the bar for PIU tuning last year when we were the first ever to 11s 100% stock, full weight, 0mods and on 93oct.

After that we immediately took the stock turbo explorer world record, running 10s over 40 times, and finally taking the official track record as the first ever PIU in the 10s!!

You can read the article here: https://www.fordmuscle.com/news/fir...plorer-st-is-in-hot-pursuit-of-single-digits/

Now, we're back with another very very cool car!

Ben reached out for tuning a while back. We finally got him on the dyno with a simple mod list:

Mods
Fenfab v2 intake
CVF intercooler
Catted downpipes

Fuel
93oct e10, so no added ethanol for instagram numbers

The results are unreal!

493whp 528wtq *on 93e10*!!!! You can see up top that we have reached the knock limit. But the power is incredible. On a cooler day this car will make 500+whp on 93oct!

I'd imagine this setup will make close to 580-585whp on E40. This car just flows!

Let me know if you guys have any questions!

I know you've been tuning the hell out of PIUs, is there some sort of significant difference between them and an ST that makes them seem to respond better?

Better suspension, better gearing (subjective), bettwe transmission (objective).

Keep in mind it's also heavier.

It's hard to believe that none of this stuff was really ever documented over its six years of existence before we touched it. We learned a crap ton all of 2025. But the results showed as well.

Good to be able to continue to push the platform forward and give others new ideas all at the same time!

Most are very high miles
Yeah, that’s why I asked. I was wondering what the HP was before tuning. I supposed it might have been less than when it was new. By the way, I found the mileage in that article, 130,000. That’s some impressive result!

59k on this one.
It made 330whp stock. I'll post the before chart when I get it from The shop

I was shocked! That car now has over 140,000 miles and is daily driven. Has made 40+ 10 second hits and laid the foundation for others to follow.

These PIU cars are the cars to buy for people who are serious about going fast and want to spend as little as possible doing so.
