Hi All,
I'm experiencing a couple of scenarios.
Lately, when I first take off at a slow speed and again slow down, I feel a nudge in the drive train like the trans is downshifting but it's still in 1st gear.
Don't know if this is transfer case or differential related but I'm trying to diagnose this problem. Anyone experience or hear about something like this?
When slightly turning in reverse, I also feel a rubbing sound like a clutch slipping.

Secondly, on occasion, when starting out on first startup of the day, I hear a light clicking sound around the front right wheel. It sounds like about 4 clicks to 1 rotation of the wheel.
That makes me think it may be the universal of the right front shaft where it connects to the wheel. I've seen a bit of grease leakage there in the past. It usually subsides after 30 seconds or so.

Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Have you done trans fluid changes?

Ok, I've had time to reference these links.
Most there are complaining of harsh up and downshifts. Shifting here is fine and does what's expected in normal and sport modes.
I just get that one little nudge when slowing almost to a stop. The tranny is in 1st gear at that point so I know it's not a shift so I'm thinking more along the line of
the transfer case or diffs. It stops about 30 secs after a cold start takeoff.

The light shudder I sometimes get when in slow reverse is barely noticeable, more like the parking brake is partially on. That scenario is intermittent.

Check fluid level and reset transmission adaptation. That would be my first step.
Last I had the fluid checked, it was at 3 on the stick. It was checked when I had the transfer case and front diff fluid change about a month ago.
Have yet to do a reset. I'll look into what that involves/
