I will be putting on a rear differential brace tomorrow. This will be the first time I get my '21 ExST up in the air. Pretty excited to start beefing this thing up. I have ramps to drive the front up onto but I just want to make sure it is ok to jack up the rear end under the differential. Then ofc I will use jack stands and remove the jack so I can put the ID Speed rear diff brace on. So...yeah, just making sure it's ok to jack it up there...? Thanks

Yep, just fine to do that. Could do it by the subframe too.

You don’t need the front up at all to do anything you mentioned. Just drive the rear up on ramps and add the new parts. Use a floor jack under the diff to gently move it while you add the main bolt for the brace if it doesn’t drop right in.

FWIW, I didn't even raise up the rear when I installed my ID Speed (CPe) diff brace. I just slid under and was able to do everything fine. Took about 30 mins.

Appreciate that. I haven't had mine up in the air yet so I'm super stoked to poke around under there and see what's what so I'm gonna get it up in the air anyways. Plus I'm doing the JXB bushing insert and the grade 12 bolt at the same time as the ID Speed diff brace. But anyways thanks good to know.

Also, just FYI I just found out I am *not* getting my brace today, Whoosh said it was in stock when I ordered so I ordered there instead of from Lethal, plus no shipping so it was ~$50 cheaper. Been waiting TWO WEEKS and FINALLY found out just today after yet *another* email inquiry that "NOW it's out of stock". Wonder how long they were gonna wait to let me know that. Never buying from Whoosh again, should have gone with Lethal in the first place. At least on the phone they told me straight out that it was back ordered and will ship in 3 weeks. I know, not Whoosh's fault for it going out of stock before they shipped mine but it IS their fault for not telling me for SO long that that was the case. Pretty peeved, understatement. Anyways, I digress but yeah.

SOoooooo...will update with pics in 3.5 weeks or so. I've been so restrained and not jumping on it or doing any launches at all (other than the day I bought it on the way home from SD to MN) until I get a diff brace. It is driving me INSANE, I can't wait to actually drive this thing hard and see what it can do.

zekenator,

Sorry to hear about the delay but good parts are hard to keep in stock, I guess. :D

Just checking...

Do you have the required 'external Torx' wrench? There is a video around that gives the particulars for the size of the E-Torx wrench. [I can root around my toolchest and find the size, if needed.]

TBH I didnt really looking super close at the bolt head, I figured it was an Allen wrench. It's not?

Ordered mine 11/8/25 and received it 2/3/26. You will need a set like this https://www.amazon.com/DURATECH-4-P...e10+e12,+e14+e18+and+e20+e24,tools,176&sr=1-4

Hate to tell you but Lethal does the same thing.
