Glad I found this place!

I purchased my '26 ST late last month. I settled on this one because of 1: The color. The Carbonized Grey is sharp looking. 2: Second row bench seat. Wanted a functional adult sized 3rd seat in the second row since I won't regularly be utilizing the third row. 3: AWD. This thing feels planted, especially when exercising the full potential of the power plant.

I am not planning on any excessive modifications, but I did ditch the flimsy OE strut tower bar and replaced it with a Steeda unit. I am contemplating on replacing the exhaust with the Borla cat back Type S system. We will see.

Wishing you all a Blessed Christmas and peaceful New Year.

Nice new ride. You do know that replacing the strut brace is only a cosmetic upgrade. It will not perform any more or less than the stock stamped steel brace.

Congrats on the new ride! Unfortunately, the strut bar does nothing on these cars. For the exhaust, Thermal is the best option. Borla is overpriced and doesn’t replace the crappy flex pipes.

Congrats!

Thermal or AWE are my choices for cat-back.

Rear sway bar is an excellent way to reduce roll and help provide a more neutral turn in.

J&L catch can is a good way to clean up intake air.

Even with a factory stock tune, I would still install a larger intercooler but I understand that job is not for everyone.

Drop the factory engine oil at 500 (leave in factory filter) then change every 5k (with filter changes). I am also changing both diffs early on as well, just did the rear diff and the fluid was a gray mess.

My 2 cents.

@ManInTheBox :

Welcome Aboard!!

A couple comments:

I do like your body color selection, it actually comes very close to being similar to the color of the wheels.

If you do decide to go with the Borla system, I'd be interested in hearing about your observations (before and after). I'm still turned against having ANY fake engine noise in the interior compartment.
