It has been a while since we have a had a bone stock ST on the dyno to get “tune only” numbers. Enter a 2020 Explorer ST with just under 55k miles on the clock, bone stock even with down the spark plugs and air filter. 511 awhp on e50! Over 173 hp gained over stock with just a tune. Keep an eye out, this ST is getting a Stage X Nostrum High Performance fuel system with the new Goliath pump and stage 3 injectors to future proof it. As always, shout out to all guys at Nostrum for the remote dyno time!

A fuel system will add power because you can run the full e85. Funds are better spent other places, but if you’re already FBO a fuel system is great.

I have been told by multiple sources that the cost to upgrade the system to Full E85 from E50 isnt worth the cost.

Well it’s worth the cost if you’re build everywhere else, but if you’re not the cost to power ratio isn’t the best.

Carefully monitoring the gas pump when refueling is a PITA, especially with how thirsty these engines are. Going full E85 is definitely worth it from a convenience perspective.

Yes for sure. No more mixing would be nice.

I have a bigger intercooler, exhaust with downpipes, suspension work , AFE intake. The question is ,the money, 3k for for a nostrum pump, injectors, etc. To do what maybe 25 to 30 horse? Not a god investment IMO.

Exactly. Unless your FBO then the money is better spent other places.
