I will rent a truck and drive to you. 24 hours round trip. If this is not acceptable, I totally understand, I will do the exhaust upgrade. You can’t hear wider tires from the drivers seat.

Actually the tires are probably quieter than the ones that came on my car. They’re definitely lighter in weight, and I’ve had Conti Extreme Contact DWS 06+ on my last vehicle and I loved them. I think they’re the best tire money can buy. $1500 I’ll do if you come pick them up. I used to drive to Rhode Island occasionally to visit family, the trip shouldn’t be that bad from you. About 12 hours here and 12 hours back.

So you’re right, about a 24hr round trip. I won’t take a deposit but I’ll give you my word that I’ll hold onto the set for you until the end of January.

We’ll meet somewhere public and do the exchange. Maybe a bank parking lot so I can verify the cash on the spot, can’t be too careful nowadays, it’s almost impossible to sell something third party nowadays without getting hit up by scammers/con artists. You’re free to inspect/check out the wheels and tires obviously beforehand at that time too.

I see your wheel and tire for sale post. I just picked up my 2022 ST 3 weeks ago. My first high dollar mod was going to be a thermal exhaust, but I do like the idea of adding an extra inch of rubber. Your choices were very good, both wheel and tire. My offer is $1500. and I will drive down and pick them up on the evening of the Jan 27th or early am of the 28th. I am not trying to lowball you, this is my best offer.

Well I finally did it! I traded in my 2012 F250 on 2022 Explorer ST (Black). I have only put about 100 miles on it so far but I love this thing already. I'm getting the windows tinted tomorrow. That's a must. More to come!

I sold the ST, if I kept it I'd keep putting money into it and it's just not in the cards right now.

Hi Locoliberty. I want to thank you for your thread on the HVAC upgrade! This is one of the things that I really dislike about my 2022 ST, and I would have gladly paid more just to get the temperature display in the control panel instead of on the screen. I look forward to hearing about your testing results!

Been super busy like all on this forum, my apologies for not re-engaging until now... JUST received my 2022 ST and its awesome.. love it.. my wife loves it... looking at the reviews from trade publications I was hesitant at first but... and I know its still new... I've been a long time Ford guy... and I just don't understand the negative reviews the 2022 explorer received.. i.e. Motor trend, Car & Driver etc...

I have the same question that you ask. I pull a side x side and just added electric brakes to my trailer. I couldn't find a response to your question from anyone. On my truck i have a external brake control to adjust the brake gain.

Just installed the Steeda stiffer and lowering springs, rear adj. sway bar and UPG Catch can. Previously, installed a Whipple Intercooler, Bora Cat Back Exhaust system, aFE Strut tower brace, aFE GT dual cool air intake system, Nitch'e 22:x10 Bronze Wheels and 285x40xR22 NITTO Tires. My Chip is a "Chip Your Car" tuner, looking for something with more performance? Any suggestions on Best Tuners for the ECO Boost 3.0
