morning all,
This is my first post and I was searching the forums but no luck in finding any matching issues. Hoping someone may be able to help.

Last week my wife said she heard a whining noise when she would have her accelerator pressed. She thought it was coming from the front passenger wheel area. I road shot gun and also drove and its coming from more centerline in the car. Its hard to describe, but best way I can describe it, is a whirling whine. Almost sounds like a squeaky belt but not quite. It is only present when the accelerator is pressed while accelerating or holding speed constant, or cruise control is engaged. As soon as you release the accelerator it goes away. Present from 15 mph and up. No warning lights, no other symptoms other than the annoying whine.

Has anyone ever dealt with anything similar?

its a 2020 ST

Have your rear diff checked as mined did that exact thing and once I took it in they stated there was metal shavings in the diff. I was still under warranty so it was changed out and the sound went away. You can search on here as this has been brought up.

Does it do it all the time? Take a video.
