Solid choice! A friend of mine owns Equilibrium Tuning, he is a tuning wizard and offers excellent hybrid turbo options. Ever since I got rid of my GTI I missed it. With big power, the FWD was a liability, could do rolling burnouts shifting through gears which was fun though.

The GTI was one of the few vehicles that was fastened together properly without silly production line oversights. The Explorer seems to be missing 10% of the fasteners every time I take something apart.

Yea we joined the cult of GTI with a Mk7 a few years ago. Instantly fell in love and understood the appeal. That got hit and totaled so I bought a Mk8 40th Anniversary car but it was a little stripped down and missing some basic things the wife really wanted like Keyless Entry so I traded it off on a 24 SE right when the 25’s were hitting lots…they were dealing like crazy on the 24’s.

I’ve had this idea floating around in my head since I first saw the Blue Cruise sensor location. Once I knew the measurements worked I just had to get the trim piece, cut up the plastic cover, completely take apart a P3 gauge down to the bare display then cut and sand things a little at a time until they fit together. It came out better than I hoped and as much as I loved the vent gauge, this is even better. View attachment 35065
