Hey guys, took my '22 in to the dealership again at 58K miles. complaining again about the noise in the engine bay that I knew had to be the flex pipe. they put it on the lift and verified that yes, its cracked, and the front muffler was also broken. pipe just fell off at the weld. they are covering the muffler system (over $4k) they stated but said the flex pipe isn't covered- said its a different system and not covered after 30k miles. I called ford and tried to file a complaint but they said they couldn't find any process to get that covered at. what would be the best way to try and escalate this? anyone had any luck?
I initially complained about the noise in the engine bay over a year and a half ago, but in that visit they ended up having it for 2 months and replacing the entire rear diff & didnt address that... seems like this is something that should be covered especially if they are agreeing to cover the muffler system.
