I have a 2020 with a 93 tune. I've had the time for about 40k miles now. Now I'm at 80k miles.
I've noticed recently that my 3-4 shift sometimes is a little less than smooth under moderate and light throttle. I don't know if it's flare, but it kind of seems like it is in neutral for a moment then it goes into 4th. It's not harsh, but it is slightly noticeable.
Also, when I go into reverse, it is like a noticeable clunk.
Sometimes, when rapidly coming to a stop, some of the downshifts are a little noticeable. Not harsh to the point where it feels like we got rear ended, but I notice it.
If I clear the KAM memory (which resets the TCM), the symptoms are gone, and then eventually return.
I have changed the fluid and filter at 20k, 38k, and again at 70k. Currently using HPL Teal fluid, but I noticed this as I approached 70k on Mercon ULV.
Any ideas what it could be? I'm going to try the stock tune again and monitor.
It sounds like it could be early signs of a CDF drum issue, or maybe something with the valve body, but I'm not sure. All other shifts are fine.
Any ideas?
