That’s what I think about you mate, but I don’t hop on your stuff and say it. And also your statement is untrue because I don’t have my mind made up. I simply stated something I want to do, and I inquired about a setup OP is using in case there is valuable information I could obtain to help make a better decision on a potential new set up. With all due respect, all the quality input you’ve provided to the forum members and Exploder ST owners over the years is truly appreciated, but you seem to have a tendency to go out of your way to provide disrespectful little jabs occasionally when people have a different train of thought than you, or are trying to learn about something/gather info and you happen to have a differing opinion. Sometimes you say things to be helpful, and sometimes you say things to belittle, when you could just keep it to yourself (whether right or wrong).

A good example is I like my front AFE sway bar on medium setting and my rear AFE bar at medium. (I’ve had my rear bar at stiffest and front bar at softest, front bar was done at a later time than rear bar, and each time I only changed one setting at a time so I played around a bit) That gives me the best overall performance for what I want/need. You claim a stiff rear bar and no aftermarket front bar, or maybe aftermarket front on its softest setting is the way to go. I disagree and we can both be okay with our own setup because it suits us. I have many reasons for that decision too other than just “feel”. But regardless, I don’t go out of my way to belittle you or make a snarky comment. I am inclined to respond though since I’m human.
I didn’t test the bar settings for what “works” for you. I tested them at the ragged edge of under and oversteer…my statement stands and has been verified by many others.
Your last statement that wheel width not needing to be listed is wrong also. As the other poster stated…offset without wheel width is irrelevant. You cannot calculate fitment without both. Period…it’s not even debatable. But since you choose to continue debating it…I say good luck.

“What works for you”. Again a belittling comment implying your opinion on sway bars is the best opinion.. I was curious when I said something else about a differing in opinion if you’d be able to respond without throwing a little jab in there.. proving my point..

Regardless, when I had my rear bar at the stiffest setting my rear wheel would pick up off the ground slightly and lose traction when turning onto a road that is slightly elevated, or slam down if leaving a driveway a smidget too fast if both wheels aren’t going over the dip at the exact same time/rate, or in other areas dealing with potholes, or uneven surfaces. The tighter the bar the less independent the rear suspension, but also less grip. Front bar definitely keeps the car feeling more stable and pointed through turns, I cranked it up to medium after seeing the difference in the softest setting over oem. Oem felt like a boat. Better than most midsize SUVs or crossovers sure, but i’m not trying to be like most SUVs. Medium rear bar in my opinion is where it’s at, but I’m sure there are many others who think stiffest is best. I say cool, to each their own. I don’t track this thing, but like to drive spiritedly, and the roads around here are anything but flat.

And I will die on the hill of saying offset is more relevant than irrelevant when talking about fitment and tire size and what’s the biggest tire that will fit. Lol, this is hilarious, but ridiculous. It’s not irrelevant. And I never said you don’t need to take the wheel width into consideration at all. Of course that could be helpful info. The accusation was that it’s irrelevant to list offset of a wheel with the tire size…and my point is that it is still relevant…because that tire at different offsets will fit (or not fit) differently, as in the section width of the tread will fit further out or further in, closer to the strut or closer to the fender well liner at turn..

Again, stating offset with tire size is factually adding relevant information, on a topic such as tire fitment and size, but for the sake of being done with the argument I will just call it an opinion, and it’s okay if y’all or anyone else has a different opinion, I’m not going to come at all about it.
