Sunroof is whistling...

I have a 2026 ST (non-opening sunroof), got it in March, have just over 8200 miles on it now. On the way to work Monday, I noticed a whistle at highway speeds. Checked each window, still whistles. Folded/unfolded mirrors, still whistles. It did not do it on the way home Monday afternoon. I didn't drive anywhere Tuesday. This morning it was doing it again, I retracted the sunroof shade, and it was noticeably louder. If I push up on the front of the glass with my thumb, it stops. Any ideas? My first thought is we had a lot of hot days last week and over the weekend and maybe something warped slightly? But that doesn't make sense because I'm sure there are plenty of these in way hotter climates. We've had a ton of rain lately and there is no sign of any leaks.

I've seen a few people with the 2026's (fixed sunroof) mention that problem. I *think* it's an issue with the rubber seal. Let your dealer know, they should be aware of the issue.

Yep - mine had the exact same issue but I heard it right away. At the front of the panoramic glass you could clearly see the seal wasn't in right. My dealer tested it by driving it and then taping off the front seam and driving it. Warranty repair, but took 2 weeks for the glass to come in and then 2 days for them to do the job. For the 2 weeks I was waiting, I used electrical tape to seal it up, it wasn't leaking any water but the whistle was driving me nuts.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Put some blue painters tape over the seam, document the change in sound/location of where you put the tape. Then make an appt with the dealer and give them the info and let them deal with it.
