ST 2021 - how can i keep the radio OFF?

for some reason my radio keeps turning it self on whenever i restart the car
As well I noticed when I leave the car running and walk away the radio goes to full volume
I never listen to the radio, how can I just keep it OFF all the time?

Funny, sometimes the radio in mine is off on start up, and it won't turn on unless I complete a hard reboot.

It's interesting that you are suddenly experiencing this in your 2021 ST. The 'audio on' start up default setting for my 2025 ST annoyed me ever since I bought it in January and has been a topic of discussion elsewhere on this forum. To my surprise after the last software update Ford pushed to my vehicle the audio now stays off on start up! I don't know what they did but I'm happy about it. Now if I can just get it to read my text messages...
