Hello,

I did the update this week. Didn't really drive this week because I was working from home. Went to drive it today. I started the car and the speakers were popping very loud. The volume button was down very low so that wasn't the issue.

I looked into the sound settings and had it selected on surround. I checked stereo to see if it would do anything and all the popping stopped but If I choose surround it pops nonstop. I have had this car for 11 months and always had it on surround and no issues. I don't blast the stereo and never had this issue before.

This happened right after the update.

Anybody else have this issue?

I got random static for a few seconds during a drive after the update also but it went away and hasn’t come back in 3 or so drives since. Screen also rebooted while driving for the first time in the 6 months I’ve had the truck. Love this truck but ffs I hate engineers and programmers more every day between work and hobbies

As a multiple Sync 3 owner, I just reboot whenever something weird happens. It's easy—just hold the power button for 10 seconds and then release. I did this once on my last trip while on Blue Cruise, and I must admit, it's strange to see all the screens go blank while the car is driving itself, but it keeps going anyway, LOL.

This is why I have an issue when companies like GM decide hey, we aren't supporting auto apps for android and apple, we want to use our own android solution. Let the software people do it...
