Hi all, maybe a dumb question, the bolts for the rear differential cover appear to be a s splined design. I have seen 12 point splines on flywheel bolts and some lug bolts. Is this a special tool or how do I source this? Thank you,
Tommy

It’s an External Torx.
What he said. The regular torx bits have a T in front of the #, as in T-15, T-20, etc. the external ones have an E in front and harbor freight sells them. I had to buy a set to remove the exhaust manifold studs when I put long tube headers on my mustang.
