I had a really strange happening yesterday. I switched the ac to ac max and 1 min later a thump and the dash was shaking/going crazy. I turned the ac down from max and it lowered then entirely off and it stopped. When I got home I started the car up and turned the ac on again and its fine. Didn't test max ac as I was still a bit hesitant. Mi d you it is about 100 degrees out.
My thought is the max ac created too much load and made the belt slip n shake the world. Any other thoughts? Should I get this looked at?
