When looking under the car to plan out some type of rust protection for the Michigan winter I see that there is only a guard on one side of the car. is this normal for an Explorer? My edge was completely covered with panels from front to back. Also, any suggestions on best products to use? Thanks, Steve

I'm partial to using Amsoil Heavy Duty Metal Protector on my rides but there's several options out there...

I highly doubt they deleted one side. It was never installed on your car.
I called the dealer and they confirmed it’s the same on the rest of the newer runs. Then next time I am close to the dealership I’m going to drive in and take a look for myself. They said it cost about 400 bucks to buy the piece but will give me an exact price soon.

I don’t buy that at all. It doesn’t make any sense.
