So i need some repairs done to my 2020 explorer platinum. I borrowed money to get these repairs done. Since I was given an EasyCare VSC which I Ended two months later. Due to ford not honoring their warranty service. ( I've should've checked warranty before hand). So any way I asked AI for a Quote and it Quoted me $10,000+ is this about right for non warranty repairs.
I wanting to go a different route an purchase a 2025 Explorer Platinum with the Ultimate Package. And trade in the explorer with the repairs not done. Ford Dealership wants to give me $10,000 for this as a trade. Do to the list or repairs an the Dealership finding out it was in a Severe Rear-ended crash before I bought it. $10,000 is what they offering. It has 61,000 miles on it
What ya think is the Dealership buying the 2025 Platinum a better deal then getting it repaired?
