I bought a new 20 Edge ST and i was able to be inside at work and crank it up with my phone. I sold it and am in my 20 Explorer ST. I can not recall exactly how to do that on my phone. Sorry for being a little illiterate but can someone refresh my memory on this. I looked at Ford Connect and did not see what I needed or what I thought I need?
Thanks

Ford Pass is the app for that, add the VIN in app, and accept the prompt on the vehicle screen.

You may have to reset on the vehicle settings screen first if it’s still tied to a previous owners Ford Pass account

It’s FordPass now, and you add your VIN via the App.

I had an interesting FordPass experience yesterday. Standing outside the supermarket for a smoke, I tried the fob to start the Explorer so the AC would begin cooling. The distance was so great (80 yards, measured on Google Earth) that I was sure it couldn’t have actually started.

Opened FordPass and found the engine was already running. Impressive that the fob, with a 4+ year old battery, can communicate at that distance. Ford sure got that right.

Yeah I’m always impressed with the fobs distance too.

The range on the HomeLink garage door opener is equally as impressive. I can press the button before I'm even able to see the garage door and it never fails to open.
