Remote Start

I am located in Germany but will be out of the country for several weeks. I know my remote start doesn’t work here in Germany but what if I connected the vehicles hotspot to my Wi-Fi inside the house that is also on a VPN? The VPN is set for Florida. Would I be able to start my vehicle remotely when I return home to Florida? If the vehicle is connected to my VPN inside the house? Just don’t want it sitting for three weeks without being started and to keep the rats away.

FordPass Connect app will start your car anywhere it can receive cellular, not Wifi signals. You have to pair it first.

Ok then it won’t work for me. It will pick up the cellular signal here and Germany and that feature doesn’t work here from what I understand.
