Hello All -- looking for recommendation for ongoing issue with TPMS sensors.

Vehicle: 2020 Ford Explorer ST -- 20in wheels (thank goodness).

Scenario:
  1. started seeing TPMS sensor issues on dash following ignition ON. first it was one or two. then all.
  2. searched google and this forum and found thread HERE about buying new TMPS sensors off Amazon, with correct frequency for FORD, and using Motorcraft TPMS sensor tool to identify the placement for each TPMS sensor.
  3. I did TEST RUN with new TPMS sensors in box (ie. not installed). I put auto in learn mode, grabbed each TPMS sensor and held it by itself (away from others) and used Motorcraft tool to identify each corner of vehicle.
  4. Learn was successful and I put all sensors back in box and placed box in magazine holder behind DRIVER seat (ie. in vehicle).
  5. For 2-3 days, the wheels were reading 2lbs and throwing a warning about low pressure. Important: no errors.
  6. Flash to 4th or 5th day and now startup back to original issue: Sensor system error and no pressure on any wheel.
  7. What is next step:
    1. I've read that BATTERY at this age could be source of issue.
    2. I've also read that this could be sign that Body Control Module could need replacement (or at least attention -- maybe reseat of connectors and/or fuse review). I have been looking into the BCM clone service offered by some service shops.
What are your thoughts and suggestions?

Thanks -G

BCM failure would be unusual.
TPMS end of life is the norm for all 2020's out there.

Just get the new TPMS installed
