I have been doing a lot of reading to find the best choice for cleaning my Explorer ST with a System X max g+ coating. So far the best choice seems to be Adams Car Shampoo using a microfiber mitt and the two bucket system. Are there any other choices I should consider? Thanks in advance!

I do it’s just any cheap shampoo with my power washer and foam cannon when it’s really dirty, then scrub it, wash it off, dry it off, then go through with my Purple Slice detailed spray.

I like CarPro HydroFoam from a foam cannon. I also really like their darkside tire shine. Adams and Poorboys both make good products too. Lots of good stuff out there. Lots of people suggesting Adams, but just like ChemicalGuys they've gone downhill since they started doing big time distribution.

I also like CarPro's HydroFoam and have had very good results with it. Especially if you use it regularly. It isn't a long term solution but even monthly it will leave a nice shine and sheds water well.

I have read that carpro is good, but it contains a SiO2 Nano-Technology coating and it seems like it would be better to do that coating seperate from the wash. Poor boys seems good, but I will likely start with adams. Any good quality shampoo should work, but I believe it is best to have a basic shampoo without waxes or other coatings in the shampoo.

You almost need to try the HydroFoam to believe how it works. I really like to use it on the inner wheel barrels, makes that job so much easier. I mean no offense with Adams stuff. I've used a lot of their products and what I will say is that they have done a very good job of advertising.

You can feel how you want, but it's developed as a wash for coated vehicles that you can still use on uncoated vehicles.

Never used Adam’s, but heard good things. It’s Chemical Guys who do a really good job of advertising, their stuff is crap.
