I want to replace my rear camera. My overzealous self wiped it one too many times this winter with salt coating the lens and scratched it up. I actually ended up adding the rear camera spray line to my car to avoid this issue in the future.
I have the camera and it was pretty cheap ($40 for the OEM ford camera) but before I go pulling the trim down and plugging it in, i'd like to know what required module programming and calibrations (if any) need to be done through ForScan. That way if i have to copy any as_built data from an existing module, i can do it now.
I do not have the 360 camera option on my '23 due to getting the 360 cam chip credit on my vehicle
BTW, there seem to be two distinct cameras. The difference is the connection. If you search both part numbers you will see the physical differences. All the Ford sites show me part number JL7Z-19G490-F is the correct camera for my year, but after removing the camera to install the washer spray, it is clearly not. I had to order LB5Z-19G490-E to get the correct camera for my late-build '23.
