Hello all,
Having quite the week with my ST. I recently installed the MBRP Explorer ST Pro Series Cat-back Exhaust and the first week it was on, I had no issues, but randomly it started rattling. I then remembered to go in and swap the exhaust hangers as the aftermarket exhaust will rub against the fastener. I swapped the driver side, and when tightening the passenger side, the bolt snapped in the frame and I had the dealer tap it out and supply a new bolt. My car was straight-piped for about 20 hours and once I was able to properly fasten the passenger side, I've had a fairly loud rattle coming from the midsection. I think it's the flex pipes, but I am unsure.
Here is a video when driving at low speeds:
I hope it's just some piping that managed to wiggle loose, but I worry it may be something more than I bargained with when I ordered this exhaust kit. Praying the Forum gods know the problem/solution. I've been in contact with a service advisor at the nearby dealer so if I could find an answer before bringing it in, that would be great.
Thinking once I find the solution I will be getting the OEM exhaust back as this has been pretty irritating and there's just a tad too much drone.
Thanks much if anyone has an answer!
