WOW, your father was a WWII hero* and YOU are a double hero--I THANK YOU VERY MUCH for serving.

* If he lived thru that winter in the hell of the Ardennes, he was a hero.

@jeffreybehr : Thank you so much on behalf of my Daddy, my Father-in-Law and My Brother. Daddy was a Senior Sgt at Bastogne and was present in the farmhouse where the Lt General responded "Nuts" to the surrender request from the Germans.
All (3) three of my relatives became Alcoholics later on in life trying to deal with all the death and destruction they had encountered. Daddy and my brother were both Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Combat Infantry Badge recipients during their respective war time enlistments.
