My wife and I were there that weekend in 1972. This sign is a collector's copy of the cardboard advertising bill for the event. His wife had his best or favorite ones made into metal signs. Unfortunately, it contains several errors: 1) March 19-20 is a Sunday-Monday, the races were on Saturday night 2) Fremont is spelled with only one "E" and most importantly, his name is ''GARLITS" not GARLIT'S.
