What's the "officially recommended" location for attaching straps/hooks to winch it nose-first onto the rollback?

You could try Dollies.
Interesting gizmo, and would be good for a "locked up" condition. But, I'm mostly curious about what, if anything, you can hook to under a 6th Gen. My 5th Gen has the reinforced oval slots under the rocker panels, near the lift locations, for insertion of a standard "J-hook". There are some similar-looking holes on the ST, but they lack the robust reinforcement plates and probably aren't to be used for a J-hook.

Most recovery guys I know typically go for the LCAs, provided they aren't covered in wiring or have hose brackets on them.. IF the car has the unibody holes, then those are optimal.. Sometimes, it depends on The situation..
