Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum and recently purchased a 2020 ST with the street package. I don't need to change my brakes yet but my previous vehicle had upgraded pads and rotors (slotted/drilled and carbon fiber ceramic pads) and they were great. Those were purchased thru cquence but they currently dont offer anything for the ST. I was looking at Powerstop and R1 Concepts, and was wondering if anybody has any experience with either of them. Specifically with the Z36, Z23 or Carbon coated.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated .

Z23 would be best for ST. Seems like all positive reviews from over there. Don’t know much about R1.

I have Z23 pads on my stock rear calipers (and Powerstop rotors) and GT350 front calipers. No complaints, almost zero dust, perfect fit, great stopping power at all speeds.

@MikeyP What else was involved when installing the GT 350 front calipers?

Where I deviated from that list is:
Note: the calipers are on backorder so try to find a pair at a local dealer or check Ebay for a used set. LMR sells a new set of calipers (base black and R red) and rotors but they are far more expensive than if you can find them at a dealer.

What wheel spacer are you using on the GT350 brakes?

None. I have 20x9.5 RTR Tech 5 wheels. There's plenty of spoke clearance with those. If you're using factory wheels you'll need some 1" spacers.

Another option for the full kit is to check out The Parts Farm. They buy up a lot of wrecked Mustangs and have fair prices for kits.

I've used Powerstop for many years without any issues. I've had them installed for over 4 years on my 20 Raptor, 10 GT500, 19 Bullitt, and an old 09 F150 I used for towing. They hold up to mountain driving with a trailer and also did very well on the track in my GT500.
