Has anyone done this and willing to leave a review after install? Pros and cons wanted.

It will literally make no difference, what made you want to do this?

It’s the shocks and struts that are firmer in the ST. If you swap those it will soften up the ride. I’m actually considering it myself just to see how it feels with the rest of my suspension mods.

Every time I’ve driven a Platinum, it felt no different ride quality wise then the ST.

I’ve never even been in one. Always wondered what 8% difference even feels like.
Felt like nothing, guess one of those things that may have an effect statistically, but through the seat of the pants didnt feel different.

To be honest, the the ride is main thing I dislike about the ST. There's no reason it needs to be so firm. I had a rental Explorer for a couple weeks, it was a 23 base model and it rode so much better. It's probably a combination of the spring rate and the 18" wheel/tires that made the ride better. I wish Ford gave us the option of "Mag Ride" like the Mustangs get.

I am also interested in another spring/strut option if anyone has any suggestions.

The big thing is the low profile tires. Going down to 20s would help a lot.
