Operate rear windows after parking & shutting off engine

Is anyone else able to roll up/down the rear passenger windows from the driver controls or rear door controls, after parking and turning off the engine? Before I open any doors, I can control the radio and front windows for ~10 minutes after turning off the engine, but I can't operate the rear windows. Is this normal? My 2015 and 2022 Explorers did not have this behavior.

I think that is normal. Also frustrating is if I turn off the engine and someone opens the front door before the window finishes closing or before I press the button, it's power is cut.

Ford went cheap on the rear doors without including a control module for the windows. They are power windows like the 1980s.

This is disappointing since the 2016 Fusion we had allowed for this level of control; we could also open and close front and rear windows with the key fob. Alas, they did not spend money on the turbo for the Fusion as it lasted ~100k and then died.

Hoping for better turbo longevity from the ST.

I don't know if it was a cost saving strategy or not, but I would be interested in Ford's logic with this. I wonder if it's something we could enable with Forscan?
