No interior lights when door opens

2025 explorer st has no lights when I open door
Any ideas?
Could it be due to recall that I need to have done?

Check switch setting in overhead console….. mine was set to “off” when delivered….

Do you have the overhead switch enabled? No recall is related to this that I know of.

When is the last time you drove it? I'm retired and my '25 ST can sit for days or weeks without being started and I find after a few days when I open the door the interior lights and dash screen displays that normally would illuminate will not. I'm guessing this is part of some sort of battery saving strategy and once I start it then the lights/dash turn on when the door is opened like normal again.
