Nav system distance issue...

Is there some way to change the setting so it gives a bit more warning other than "Turn left NOW" when you're 20ft from where it wants you to turn... like maybe 100 yards or even 100ft? The damn thing even told me "Turn right NOW" when I was half way across an intersection turning left last month because the place I was heading was on that corner...
No frigging wonder people drive into rivers, fields or onto RR tracks etc.

I know this doesn’t technically help but using AA or CarPlay is probably your best bet. Then You can use google maps Waze or something like that. Much better navigation.

ah ha! Roomie has Waze on her phone which is synced with the ST.
